The Rajadhiraja Govinda temple is the one of beautiful temples by ISKCON foundation near VasanthPura , Bangalore. This is on the hill top and one of the awesome locations to visit in Bangalore . This is location around 18kms from the city center.

SavanDurga hills can be viewed from here at a long distance. Temple is very near to the BMRCL Doddakalsandra metro station and is about a 5 minutes journey from the station. The Akshaya Patra foundation which offers free meal program is adjacent to the temple.

There is an ample space for parking at the temple. The temple complex includes Sanctums having Idols of Sri Krishna , BalaRama , Radha , Padmavathi , Narasimha , Govinda , ISKCON guru Sri A C BhakthiVedanta Swami Prabhupada. As in any ISKCON temples , the darshan is very well arranged starting from visit to Sri Krishna BalaRama sanctum , followed by Sri.Swami Prabhupada then to main sanctums of Sri Rajadhiraja Govinda temple. The Gvinda idol which is about 6 to 7 feet tall is mesmerizing.
Temple is open for Darshan from morning till 8.30 PM . Best time to visit the temple is in the early morning and in evenings to experience the cool breeze around the temple. In the evening one may experience sunset views from the temple over the Thurahalli forest area.
At the temple , there are facilities arranged for a meditation room . Stores to purchase any books , gifts , Prasad and other snack items. Free Prasad is arranged for all devotees visiting the temple. In the evening the temple Gopuram and other structures are illuminated with focus lights which make the temple glitter even from far off distances. When traveling by metro train in late evening , one may notice this lighting far away.
