- Established in the year 1989. Currently being managed by Bangalore Association for Science Education (BASE)
- Has a unique 360 degree 3D Sky theater in a doom structure and seating capacity of 200 seats
- Scientific Park for visitors to learn some science topics in a natural way
- Educational Exhibitions on solar planets , galaxy , Astronauts
- Projectors used simulate the night sky on the doom , side projectors capable of displaying images and videos. These are also used for training on astronomy topics.
- Events are arranged on special occasions like solar eclipse, astronomy events.
- Shows are available in English and Kannada Languages

A must visit spot for Astronomy enthusiasts and children. The Wow feel is guaranteed ! Planetarium campus extends to about 4 to 5 acres with ample parking space , plantations and trees making it a great place for hangout for the whole family. There are shops inside the campus serving light snacks , cool drinks and beverages. Planetarium houses a stall selling Books , Science games.
