In this post , we share our team's visit experience to Tippu Sultan's birth place memorial at Devanahalli , which is about 35 kms to the north of Bangalore.
Tippu Sultan ( 1751 - 1799 ) , popularly known as the Tiger of Mysore was born at this place. In this great warrior's memory , a memorial is present at this place which is about 100 mts from the Devanahalli fort . A four pillared arch structure which roots on a square platform within masonry enclosure having entrance from the east are the only remains available.
