In this post , we share our team visit experience to Yogi Narayana Mutt at Kaiwara in Chikkaballapur district , one of the one day weekend destination spots about 70 kms from Bengaluru city

Inside the mutt

Yogi Narayana is a bilingual poet saint who lived during the 18th century and has composed keerthanas towards local diety Amaranarayana Swamy. He was believed to be a common man , who got enlightened during his mid age & later attained nirvana through meditation.





Our team visited this spot during their visit to Kaiwara. Mutt is in the heart of kaiwara town , open between morning 9 AM till evening 8 PM . An idol is consecrated to Yogi Thataiya inside the mutt , behind this idol is his samadhi. Spot is calm , silent and ideal for meditation. Portraits of Thataiya's life is displayed all around depicting his stages of life.





Mutt administration is dedicated to provide free education , lunch , accomodation for the poor and needy. Devotees may donate towards this charity trust . Free lunch everyday to visitors is arranged between 12.30 to 2.30 PM and at evening between  7.30 PM to 8.30 PM
