About Unified Citizen Connect Portal
- User friendly Web portal for citizens - compared to earlier portals this portal is more device friendly - https://bbmp.gov.in/login
- One time simple registration using mobile number and E-mail address - On first time registration a OTP is sent to the entered mobile number , upon validation registration is confirmed and user gets logged in to the portal
- The information is categorized based on BBMP department . For each department , details about the department , the services offered by the department , Roles and responsibilities of the department , general questions , organization chart , contact details of officers , various initiatives taken by the department , its achievements are displayed.
- Portal is integrated with BBMP Namma Bengaluru Sahayaa app . Any grievance raised is app is traceable on this portal . Also application status of Trade license, Building approvals , Property tax payments are displayed in portal personalized dashboard
- Latest information and updates from BBMP on social media platforms are displayed in dashboard
- Some of the customer services links integrated with virtual assistant bots
- Using the department specific links - applications can be submitted and tracked for various services online
