Kaiva is a crime drama film directed by Jayatheertha, who also co-wrote the screenplay with B. Ajaneesh Loknath and Shwetpriya Naik. The film stars Dhanveerrah Gowda, Megha Shetty, Mahantesh Hiremath, Ramesh Indira and Jayaram Karthik in the lead roles. The film was produced by KM Prakash under his banner Prakash Pictures.
The film is inspired by the true incidents that took place in Bangalore’s 1980s, when a group of young men led by Kaivara Bheema (Dhanveerrah Gowda) fought against the police and political corruption. The film follows their journey of love, friendship, betrayal and revenge as they face various challenges and enemies.
The film revolves around Kaivara Bheema (Dhanveerrah Gowda), a college student who falls in love with Geeta (Megha Shetty), a girl from a different caste. He decides to elope with her but faces opposition from her family and society. He also gets involved in a political conspiracy that threatens his life and his love.
While trying to escape from his troubles, he meets Varun (Mahantesh Hiremath), a journalist who helps him expose the truth behind the conspiracy. He also befriends Raju (Ramesh Indira), a hacker who provides him with technical support. He also crosses paths with Karthik (Jayaram Karthik), a police officer who is assigned to catch him.
The film has an ensemble cast of talented actors who deliver stellar performances. Dhanveerrah Gowda portrays Kaivara Bheema as a brave, loyal and passionate hero who fights for his love and justice. Megha Shetty plays Geeta as a beautiful, innocent and supportive heroine who stands by Kaivara Bheema through thick and thin. Mahantesh Hiremath plays Varun as a smart, witty and courageous journalist who exposes the corruption behind the scenes. Ramesh Indira plays Raju as a funny, friendly and helpful hacker who assists Kaivara Bheema in his mission.
