Ronny is an action packed gangster drama that follows the life of Raghava (Kiran Raj), an aspiring actor who transforms into the notorious gangster Ronny. The film begins with Kaali (Ravi Shankar), a dominant underworld don, who hires a director to create a movie about his life. This sets the stage for a narrative that oscillates between Raghava's past and his present as Ronny.

Kiran Raj as Ronny/Raghava delivers a dual portrayal that adds depth to the character. His transition from a hopeful actor to a feared gangster is both convincing and compelling. Radhya as Anjali, Raghava's love interest, brings a touch of innocence and emotional depth to the film. Sameeksha as Supreetha, an abstract painter, provides a fresh perspective and a glimmer of hope in Ronny's tumultuous life.  Apurva as Jhanvi, a police officer with ambiguous motives, adds an element of suspense and intrigue. Ravi Shankar P as Kaali, the underworld don, delivers a powerful performance that anchors the film's darker themes.

Gurutej Shetty's direction attempts to blend the glitzy sheen of gangster dramas with a raw, human quest for redemption. The screenplay, though familiar, is elevated by its intense action sequences and emotional undertones. The narrative structure, which alternates between Raghava's past and present, keeps the audience engaged and invested in his journey. The film's music, composed by Srivathsan Selvarajan, complements the highoctane action and emotional moments, enhancing the overall viewing experience. The cinematography captures the gritty underworld and the contrasting moments of hope and redemption, adding a visual richness to the film.
