Moral story of the day

The Shepherd and the Wolf

Once upon a time, in a lush valley, there lived a shepherd who tended to a flock of sheep. He was a kind and diligent man who took great care of his animals.

One sunny afternoon, as the sheep grazed peacefully, a sly wolf emerged from the nearby forest. The shepherd, ever vigilant, spotted the wolf lurking in the shadows.

The wolf, seeing that the shepherd was alone and outnumbered, decided to try its luck. It crept closer to the flock, its eyes glinting with hunger.

The shepherd knew he had to act quickly. He grabbed his trusty staff and charged at the wolf. The wolf, startled by the shepherd's boldness, retreated into the forest.

The sheep, witnessing the courage of their shepherd, bleated in relief. They knew that the wolf could strike again, but they were comforted by their shepherd's vigilance and determination.

From that day forward, the shepherd kept a watchful eye over his flock. He never forgot the encounter with the wolf and knew that he would always be ready to protect his sheep.

Moral of the Story:

  • Courage is not the absence of fear, but the ability to overcome it.
  • Vigilance is essential for success and protection.
